to love my children 

by loving my husband.

Why I'm Writing Mommy Resolutions

I like the word Resolution. 

I realized the other day though that there may be some negative associations with the word. When it is paired with the phrase New Year’s for example, the word Resolution may bring feelings of guilt and failure. 

So I’d like to explain a bit about why I’m writing Mommy Resolutions.
 

Mommy Resolution #12

Resolved  

to teach The Scriptures, 
God's Word the Bible, 
to my children.

Mommy Resolution #11

Resolved  

to respond with compassion to my children 
no matter how small the problem seems, 
no matter how inconvenient,  
and no matter how untimely.

"As a Father shows compassion to his children, 
so The Lord shows compassion to those who fear Him."
Psalm 103:13

Mommy Resolution #10

Resolved  

to take better care of

Me

"After all,
no one ever hated their own body,
but they feed & care for their body,
just as Christ does the church"

enjoyment,

everyday if possible.
